Because the military makes it near-impossible to take a proper wedding trip [let alone to travel internationally at the moment, which is what we really want to do], we are splitting up our trip into two separate but no less fabulous parts:
So on our list of chefs we plan to visit and stuff ourselves silly this weekend is: Charlie Palmer, Todd English, Emeril, and Tom Colicchio.

I also want one of those walkabout gargantuan margaritas you can get in Vegas simply because I did not have one last time and I want one this time.
Anyone have any recommendations for what else we do/eat while in Vegas? Really, no such thing as too much food for us. If I thought it were possible, I’d have actually made two dinner reservations for us each night just to get the full experience. But we have to be reasonable. A little.

Now, MOLTOS are asking me why we’ve chosen Vegas for our food trip. This is the easiest answer in the world: I love Vegas, we no one who lives in Vegas, and so we can go to Vegas and feel uncompelled to be social. We can just go to Vegas and Eat. In our lives, this is not possible in any other American city. Also, many international ones are ruled out too… but since we can’t travel there right now anyway, no harm done. I’ll just travel to Paris myself and send Bill pictures of everything I eat.
Anyway, I’m trop excited.
Vegas I am going to eat you whole!!! And yes, I’m wearing stretchy pants the whole time and selected precisely two cocktail dresses for the trip that are a little… how you say?… forgiving.

[this is actually one of them… worn on my last trip to vegas! oh man, that was such a killer haircut.]
also p.s.
here is the airport bunny i am really excited to see:
