This is the day Puppy came home with us.
Cone of shame.
A few days later, he was going on walks *without* the cone of shame.
He was still pretty miserable though. There was hurting. And chaffing. So I waited on him hand and foot.
And he walked funny. So I made the ride a little easier. I hauled him around in a bag.
What, he was already emasculated.

I took the cone off Cashew while I was having lunch and could watch him to make sure he doesn’t lick or chew at his stitches. He took the opportunity to sit in front of the couch, gently rest his head on the cushion, and whine quietly.

When you have parents as gorgeous as mine are, it’s very hard to ever think of yourself as good-looking.
To counter-act this problem, I recommend only one course of action: be as silly as possible. All. Of. The. Time.
And whatever you do: never, ever, ever outgrow it.
